I’m a professional writer. I live in New York City and make a living writing for the theater. I can’t quite believe that I want to spend more time writing than I already do, but I’ve started to miss writing prose. When I was in college, I thought I wanted to be a novelist. I’ve continued to read a lot of novels and I have started to read more short fiction. I miss prose a lot and I wanted to get back to that part of myself.
This blog is going to be a fluid writing journal for me. I will try to categorize my posts as fiction or non-fiction. That said, many of the postings will just be the beginnings of something and I won’t really know what they are until much later in the process. Hopefully, the evolution of this experiment will be interesting to watch.
