This is my anonymous blog. Why blog anonymously? That’s simple. For that free breezy feeling of being in a city where you don’t speak the language, where no one knows your name or why you’re there; for the lightness and reinvention of self that only anonymity brings. Here, I hope to be able to put my ego aside and just write some prose already, but lest I feel like I’m in a complete vacuum (where the stakes are extraordinarily low), I write on the internet – to strike the fear of God into me: the terror of an audience that so propels me in playwriting. Not that I will actively market the site – but hopefully, a few people trolling around the web will find my little pieces and read them. Or at the very least, I will be constantly aware that they could. And that, my friends (if you’re out there), is enough.
For those pioneering few, here are a few rules of engagement:
1. Do comment if you like something or have something constructive to say.
2. Do let me know if the story left you with unanswered questions. It will help me with rewriting!
3. Do share your writing, blogs, etc.
4. Do be respectful of my writing, opinions, ideas as well as those of any other commenters.
5. Do remember that these are drafts and in process unless otherwise noted… therefore:
6. Do not be nasty.
7. Do not “borrow” from the site. That’s plagarism and slimy.
8. Do not spam.
Pretty simple, no?
